Now that the NTG has reorganised the Public Bus Service, it seems that not all things remain the same.
I found out today that one cannot get a bus from RDH to Leanyer any more. At least, not without a fairly hefty walk from one side of Casuarina Square to the other.
One used to be able to get a Route 1 or 1h bus from the Hospital down to Casuarina Terminal, then a Route 2 bus over to Leanyer. Now the Hospital Bus finishes at the old bus terminal, and you then need to walk to Trower Rd because THE ROUTE 2 BUS DOES NOT GO TO THE TERMINAL any more.
The old setup used to be good. Admittedly, I didn’t need to use that connection all that often, but when I did it worked well. Now it is a major headache.
Hopefully, this gets fixed soon.
